I just dumped everything into the crock pot and left it there to stew! See! Easy peasy! Dinner DONE!
Are you a busy bee? Someone who doesn't find dinner making exciting? I recommend this my friends!
I found this recipe from The Crock Pot Girls on Facebook. They are wonderful! If you have a crock pot, find some recipes on their website and try them out! Breakfast, lunch, dinner and even desserts! They have got something for you! So wanna see what i made?
Chicken Salsa Tacos! YUM!
Ingredients? Sure i got you set!
* Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breasts.
I used 3 large breasts (oh my ;P) And that is more then enough for 4 of us, but feel free to use more!
* A jar of Salsa.
I used a large jar of Mild Salsa. I wanted to make sure my chicken didn't dry out in the crock pot.
* A can of Sweetcorn
* A can of Black Beans
* Half a bag of Spinach (not in the picture...as i forgot about the spinach until half way through cooking!)
* 1 Tbs of Cilantro
* Salt & Pepper to taste.
1. Add the salsa, sweetcorn, black beans. spinach, chicken and seasoning...stir it all together!
2. Cook on low heat for 7 - 8 hours
3. Once cooked, shred the chicken and serve!
How easy was that! I started the crock pot before i left for college in the morning and then came home to an awesome smellin' kitchen! Made me excited for dinner!
Heck yeah i added cheese! Look how yummy!
So take it easy, get a crock pot and get on this! You will thank me!
Happy Dinner!
